Adobe Reduces the Post-Subscription Grace Period from 30 to 14 Days
Dear Partners,
We'd like to let you know about an important update from Adobe.
At the moment, if a customer doesn't renew their subscription on its renewal date, Adobe products continue to work normally for another 30 days. Starting December 1, 2026, this grace period will be reduced to 14 days. If the subscription isn't renewed, the products will continue to work normally for only 14 days after the renewal date.
This change will apply to all VIP Marketplace accounts, regardless of the customer's renewal date, market segment, or region.
As you know, Adobe moved all sales to the Marketplace in 2025. As a result, the separate SKUs previously used for subscription renewals were discontinued. The same part numbers are now used for both new subscriptions and renewals.
Customers now have only 14 days after their renewal date to renew an existing subscription. If they miss this window, their Adobe products will stop working. They will then need to purchase a new subscription, reassign licenses, and configure everything again. Any stored data will also be deleted after the 14-day period expires.
Our MCD portal supports subscription renewals during the 14-day grace period after the renewal date. To renew a subscription during this time, go to Subscription Management and use the Activate option.
