Changes in Adobe’s product line for academic customers have been postponed

Previously, Adobe announced to make Creative Cloud for Teams packages and the individual applications they include — such as Adobe XD, After Effects, Animate/Flash Professional, Audition, Captivate, Dimension, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InCopy, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro — unavailable for purchase by academic customers in higher education starting April 1, 2026.

This decision has been postponed, as Adobe recognizes that many customers are not yet ready for transition to Creative Cloud for enterprise and the enterprise versions of individual applications (Photoshop for enterprise, Premiere Pro for enterprise, etc.). Nevertheless, the vendor recommends that customers already consider making this transition.

After moving to the enterprise offerings, end users will receive a higher level of technical support from the vendor, as well as more convenient user authentication options.
